The BELPEARL AUCTION in Hong Kong successfully sold USD $5.1 million of South Sea Pearls to Pearl traders and jewelers. Said Mr. Michael Hajjar, Business Development Manager of Belpearl, the success of our last auction is due to the quality our suppliers and client base, which we have been cultivating for over 30 years.

This year we’ve managed to add new quality producers to our auction, and this means that for the first time, international buyers are having direct access to the worlds most beautiful pearls, which before were never directly reaching the trading floor. Our approach is different than many other auctions, we bring in each pearl producer to our auctions so they can directly see in a transparent manner how the market is performing, furthermore, we provide pearl grading and pearl lot sorting expertise.  This auction featured fantastically dark gold pearls of exceptional luster from Myanmar’sMyanmar Atlantic Company and Myanmar Niino Company, as well as incredibly lustrous white pearls from Indonesia’s premier pearl producers, PT. Bima Sakti Mutiara and the TM Group.
